THE MISSION

The Escape Project is a civilian, maritime disaster response and humanitarian relief effort that reutilizes militarily-obsolete vessels to accomplish its mission.  By employing the use of ships, The Escape Project will be fully furnished to deliver vast amounts of basic life essentials to diverse areas of the Western Hemisphere, now experiencing unprecedented disasters through hurricane, tornado and earthquake destruction upon numerous lives and properties.

The Escape Project specifically incorporates the use of U.S. Government surplus or excess property.  As times and material needs of the U.S. Government are subject to change, certain Government property may prove to be excess, obsolete or otherwise burdensome to the U.S. Government.  The Escape Project examines these inventories to consider the civilian conversion of these items into a useful, productive and life-saving asset class.  The incentives for reutilization of maritime vessels, equipment and supply in this manner are astronomical in terms of international life-saving capacities, as well as the obvious residual benefits that perpetuate financially, environmentally, diplomatically and logistically for all participating entities.

The inventory analysis and management component of The Escape Project is an effective mechanism by which available supply and qualified demand merge into a peculiarly-effective harmonic balance, central to the high demands of a recovering or developing society.

Employees, volunteers, missionary personnel and all who contribute to The Escape Project have the pleasure of meeting the five-fold needs of their fellow man through direct or system-supporting roles as diverse as the cultures in which they serve.

Whether your ministry aspirations include a short-, medium- or long-term commitment, The Escape Project will be poised to facilitate the personnel and material resources necessary to help in times of need.
